What’s Happening in Week 2?

Week 2 looks as action-packed as Week 1, with the following events taking place:

Monday: Lancaster BID in Residence – if you have any views on business in Lancaster, the Business Improvement District team would love to hear from you. Call in for a chat from 10am to 4pm
Tuesday: Behaviours that Stick – looking into how we connect with our electrical appliances and how this can encourage energy saving in the home (10am-4pm). SciFi Film Screening – George Lucas’s THX 1138 (6.30pm)
Wednesday: Blank Canvas – reclaiming objects that would otherwise have been thrown away to create a communal art installation (10am-4pm). MahJong and Chinese Calligraphy – come along and learn how to play the ancient Chinese game of MahJong (6pm)
Thursday: Foreign Language Film Screening – The Dukes and the Department of European Languages and Cultures will be showing ‘Mood Indigo’ with Audrey Tatou and Romain Duris.
Friday: Lancaster Debates – come and see us between 10am and 4pm and tell us your views on whether or not 16 and 17 year olds should be allowed to vote in elections
Saturday: Lancaster Debates: The Debate – Question our panel of local MPs about why they feel 16 and 17 year olds should or shouldn’t get the vote.
All events are free, open to all don’t require booking. All events will take place at our shop on 5, Cheapside in Lancaster
