With 5 days until launch, we’re now looking forward to our first full week in the shop.
We’ll be kicking off on Tuesday 15th March with a team of students from the Lancaster Institute for Contemporary Arts. During their event, UnHeard, they’ll be looking at how happy and healthy we are here in Lancaster. Come in for a coffee and contribute to an interactive art piece.
On Wednesday, we’ll be experiencing the human body like never before with our team from the Medical School and their 3D interactive tour of the cardiovascular system.
On Thursday we’ll be looking at the stories of the children at the core of the English witch hunts of the 1600s and then hosting an evening roundtable discussion about the situation in the Middle East with Simon Mabon from the Department of Politics, Philosophy and Religion. Friday will see us trying out an app which is all about Lancaster – come on in and tell us what you think, anf then Simon will be back with us on Saturday 19th March, when we’ll continue to ask ‘how do you solve a problem like ISIS?’ No need to book for the Saturday event.
We look forward to seeing you at Campus in the City!
