Then why not join us for one of our quick workshops on writing the Lakes with Cumbrian poet Polly Atkin at our ‘Mapping the Lakes’ event on Saturday?
Campus in the City Creative Writing Workshops
Award-winning Cumbrian poet Polly Atkin will be running poetry workshops at Campus in the City on Saturday 7 May 2016. The workshops will focus on writing about place. Polly will begin by reading some Lake District poems with you, and then will work with you on your own poem. All welcome, and no previous writing experience is necessary. If you have a poem or other piece of writing that you’d like to share, please feel free to bring it along.
The workshops will be held at 12.30 and 2.30pm in the Campus in the City shop, St. Nic’s Arcade. Each workshop will last approximately 45 minutes. If you’d like to come along, please e-mail Joanna Taylor at firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and the time of the workshop you’d like to attend.
