A Walk in the Park

We had a fantastic day yesterday exploring health inequalities and ways of staying fit and well in communities with a team of Lancaster University, Liverpool University and NHS researchers.

They built a a mini community inside the shop, complete with a university which offered speed talks, a playground with giant snakes and ladders, a shop and a park.

In the park, we asked all of our visitors to tell us one thing that would chia be in their neighbourhood to improve health. The responses were really interesting, with suggestions ranging from cheaper gym membership and less traffic to better park and play facilities and less dog fouling.

Take a look for yourself!

  1. It was a really busy day while I was there, and the snakes and ladders was getting a vast amount of interest. Brilliant CITC
